Refined Wax

Refined Wax is a high-purity, fully saturated paraffinic processing aid engineered specifically to provide superior anti-ozonant barrier protection, release characteristics, and viscosity modification in technical rubber compounds and tire components. Manufactured with an ultra-low oil content and a precise molecular weight distribution, this wax provides a controlled, temperature-regulated bloom rate across the cured rubber matrix. Once vulcanized, it continuously migrates to the component exterior to form a renewable, micro-crystalline barrier film. This physical shield isolates unsaturated polymer backbones from atmospheric ozone attack, dynamic flex-cracking, UV photodegradation, and environmental weathering over prolonged outdoor service lifecycles.

Refined Wax improves processing throughput across internal mixers, two-roll mills, calenders, and cold-feed extruders. By reducing compound Mooney viscosity and internal shear friction, it prevents localized compound scorch and lowers heat generation during intensive masterbatch and final-stage mixing cycles. The chemically non-polar wax acts as an effective external lubricant, preventing unvulcanized rubber stocks from sticking to mill rolls, extruder screws, and mold cavities, which facilitates clean demolding and reduces fouling on intricate tire tread and sidewall molds.
