Refined Wax

Refined Wax is a high-purity, fully refined synthetic paraffinic processing aid engineered specifically to govern the rheology, open/set dynamics, and thermal stability of premium hot-melt adhesives (HMA). Designed with an ultra-low oil content, high linearity, and narrow molecular weight distribution, it lowers the high melt viscosity of polymer matrices—including EVA, metallocene polyolefins (mPO), and amorphous poly-alpha-olefins (APAO)—without causing phase separation or plasticizer migration. This rapid viscosity reduction ensures swift substrate wetting, deep fiber penetration on porous cardboards, and clean nozzle dispensing with zero stringing or tailing on high-speed automated packaging, case erecting, and bookbinding machinery.

Refined Wax triggers rapid, uniform crystallization upon cooling, locking in sharp set speeds and early green strength to resist flap spring-back on rapid-cycle production lines. Its high chemical purity and non-polar paraffinic structure deliver exceptional pot stability, preventing skinning, thermal discolouration, char formation, and nozzle-clogging sludge in heated melters and application hoses over continuous shifts.
